ANTIQUE Victorian Eastlake Burled Walnut Dining Banquet Table ANTIQUE Victorian Burled Walnut Dining Banquet Table - Beautiful Renaissance Revival 1860s Civil War Example! Offered today for your consideration is a fabulous and rare ANTIQUE Victorian Burled Walnut Dining Banquet Table. It is soo beautiful - a real antique and will date from the 1860s (Civil War-era). In the Renaissance Revival Victorian Style. This table retains its orginal double casters and iron casters. (The double casters were specifically designed back then to allow for imperfections / dips / uneveness in floor - kind of an automatic "leveler" of sorts !!) The table has a gorgeous split center column - which with no leaves in makes for a most beautiful breakfast table. When split and the leaves are added - the table also has hidden inside its original center support column - also complete with its original iron caster. This table is of solid Black Walnut and dripping with Burled Walnut accents. The table itself has been refinished at some point in its long history, but as you can tell from the photos is still VERY beautiful !! T are a couple replaced glue blocks to the underside, but all in all pretty all orgiinal. Again, a very hard example to find. (Please see the many photos.) Without any leaves the table measures pretty close to a 44" wide by 44" deep (inches)
