This listing is for the beautiful antique Victorian bookchain necklace, shown in the photos here. It's in very good condition. I noticed with my loupe that one of the purple stones has a tiny chip under two of the two prongs. It's not loose at all and not seen with the naked eye, or at least mine, but I'm mentioning to be accurate. The bookchain is 18" long end to end and each has a loop that hooks over the hook on the back of the pendant. The pendant part is 1 3/16" wide by 1" tall in the center. There was once a pin assembly on the back, but the needle pin is missing. The pendant has 4 purple stones which are probably amethysts and a small pearl in the center, all are prong set. The bookchain has a different design on each side, so you can change the look if you want. The chain can be removed on each end to change the design pattern over.
