This listing is for an antique Victorian hand blown and painted Easter egg. I have many eggs to list, all in their original painted condition. All have pontils on the point of the egg. The estate I purchased these from dated them from the late 1800’s. No two of these eggs are a like and have various small flaws that you find on old glass. They also have different shapes, as these are not molded. The sizes are approximate as it is difficult to eggaxtly(sorry couldn’t resist) measure an egg. I have also put a number on each listing to help me keep them in order. The holder in the pictures is for display only. Egg(6) measures 7 inches long and 13 ½ inches around. It has remnants of gold paint, and raised painted letters saying Easter Greetings. This is a very large egg with no chips or cracks, just some minor surface rubs, and a seam that goes around the middle. As with all antiques and estate purchases, these items can show signs of wear. Please take care to examine all photos carefully. I am not an expert, but I will try to note any imperfections on my items. My items are not new or unused. Many of these items are extremely old or vintage, and care should be taken to know what you are bidding on. I only accept Paypal for payment.
