ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HANDPAINTED PORCELAIN SILVER BROOCH ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HANDPAINTED PORCELAIN SILVER BROOCH (Size: 37mm diameter) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a delightful antique Victorian brooch dating from c1890s. The brooch is round shaped with a plain silver (tested as unmarked) border. Collet set in the mount is a porcelain plaque decorated with a beautiful miniature handpainted portrait of a classical period dressed lady with ringlets, and pearl earrings. On the back is a good, strong, traditional C-clasp tube hinged pin fitting, in good working order, plus a ring for a safety chain denoting quality. The brooch is in very good vintage condition, with the porcelain portrait having no scratches, cracks or abrasions.
