You are bidding on a PAIR of Antique Mahogany Victorian Parlor Club Chairs. This is a RARE FIND becuase of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the late 19th Century Circa 1880 American made. We have the matching pieces to this set on Ebay and they all start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. Each chair sits on beautifully tapered legs with splayed caster feet and sits on wheels. Each arm rest has spindle carved supports with reeded trim work. The backrests on both chairs have a beautiful open splat design with nicely curved and rounded top rail which is beautifully carved throughout. The chairs are different shapes one is considered ladies and the other is considered the mans chair both equally beautiful. This came from a private estate and the upholstery need to be professionally cleaned and tailored and shows its use. It has a nice floral decor pattern in a semi satin finish. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. Because of its size it makes for a beautiful accent piece that can be used in a hallway or foyer, living room, study and can be placed anyw throughout your home and I PROMISE this piece will be a topic of conversation. We took a picture of this piece with the matching set that is on a separate Ebay auction so you can get a better idea on what they look like all together. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it and the back needs some professional touch up from some small chipping but overall its in excellent shape. The taller chair measures approx 35 inches high, 24 1/2 inches wide and approx 20 1/2 inches deep.
