You are bidding on a BIG & BEAUTIFUL Antique Victorian Mahogany Secretary Desk & Bookcase. This is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the late 19th Century Circa 1880 and was American made. This piece has 2 beautiful glass doors at the top with nicely raised paneling on the sides and reeded trim work throughout. It has 1 drawer and 2 doors at the bottom which are all doweled and dovetailed together with mortise and tenon construction with beautiful recessed and raised paneling. The top crown has beautifully parched pediment with a finial carved at the center. The middle of the piece has a drop down secretary desk with a nice fitted interior. It has a beautiful and exotic natrually figured wood grain pattern. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 38.75 inches wide, 89 inches high and approx 19.5 inches deep.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
