Antique Victorian Mahogany Sofa Loveseat Settee WOW~ NR THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique Victorian Mahogany Sofa Loveseat Settee. I have the matching chair and some Victorian accent tables on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. It was beautifully made and is Circa 1880. It sits on beautifully curved cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The corner of the legs as well as the arm rests are nicely scrolled and the top is beautifully curved and carved with a nicely decorative scrolled leaf decor pattern carved in the wood with a nice floral motif at the top. The sides are nicely flared with a shell crested and curved wing on each side. The backrest is beautifully curved with a curved top rail and a beautifully carved and scrolled floral trim. The backrests has a nice oval inset at the center. Throughout the piece has nicely carved detail and recessed trim work. The upholstery needs to be recovered as its original but beautifully buttom tufted in a nice brocade embossed trim with brass nailhead tacked trim going throughout the edges. This set is VERY WELL made and is all solid Mahogany wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it may have some minor imperfections on it and the upholstery needs to be cleaned but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 66 inches long, 40 1/2 inches high and approx 26 inches deep and sits at approx 16 inches in height. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
