Because of its size, this antique Victorian art glass covered jar must be a Cracker Jar. Not counting the two handles, it measures 7 ½ inches long by 6 ½ inches wide and the overall height to the top of the final is 6 inches. The silver plate is marked “Pairpoint MFG CO Quadruple Plate 3940.” The silver plate is in perfect condition with no wear; however, you will see an arrow pointing to a break on one edge of one handle. The hand painted art glass is by the Mount Washington Glass Company. It is decorated with apple blossoms. The glass and the painting are both in perfect condition...
