Hello. This auction is for a lovely antique musical photo album that I would guess dates from the early 1900's. It measures approximately 9" by 11 1/4" by 4". Its cover I believe is a form of satin like celluloid or some other similar material with a very nice image. Unfortunately it has some staining. I have not tried to remove or clean the cover since I'm not familiar with the material present. It also has some form of bone like (again celluloid?) ornately stamped banding around its' base. It has a music box that is key wound and plays when the album cover is unclasped and opened and stops at the appropriate point in the music when the album is again closed. The interior photo pages are ornate and in good condition with a bit of aging. T are some, sad to say, old family photos from one of its' previous owners. The music movement is visible through a transparent cover on the last page of the album. T is an original tag that identifies the movement as Swiss and indicates that it plays 2 airs, Maryland My Maryland, and The Torreador Song. This was a high quality piece for its' day and a very desireable collectible today.

Uninsured packages are sent at the buyer's risk of any losses. International shipping costs are dependent upon destination and type of shipping requested.
