A BEAUTIFUL ROCKING CHAIR. We have up for auction a beautiful mahogany antique Victorian rocking chair.This chair measures: 39.5 inches tall x 23.5 inches wide x 32.5 inches deep. The seat is the original tapestry and is tapered from 16 inches in the back to 21 inches in the front. The seat is 15.5 inches from the floor. It is hand carved and has a beautiful patina. It has never been repaired or refinished. Soli,d sturdy construction. Manufactured by "Payne & Co" of Boston. Most of the label is still on the bottom of the chair. Seat is still in great shape and is very solid. This chair is absolutely gorgeous and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
