ANTIQUE VICTORIAN PERIOD SILVER CARVED WHITBY JET LONG DROP EARRINGS c1870 A pair of antique English, Whitby Jet earrings; with hand carved Maltese Cross shaped tops, silver wires & fittings, and lower hand carved faceted long drops. A rather lovely, dramatic pair of earrings...very collectable, wearable too! CONDITION : Generally very good. Slightest signs of wear and a few tiny nicks here & there commensurate with age and use. Wires probably old replacements. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1870/80. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : Total drops 74 x 13 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
