Pretty antique Victorian petticoat dating to circa 1880 - for devotees of Ewa i WallaA very pretty Victorian white cotton petticoat with pintucks, ribbon run and deep boderie anglaise lace flounce. There is also a pocket to one side. Freshly laundered and snowy white, this is perfect for devotees of a romantic lagenlook. There are a couple of small, original (and well executed) darns, a couple of breaks to the bottom edge of the flounce, but this is in good, strong condition otherwise. It is currently 85cm long, but could be made longer by around 10cm, as there seems to be a deep pintuck at that could be taken down. The bottom 45cm are double, with a fine lawn underskirt flounce. The waist is on a drawstring, so can fir any size of waist. If you love the neo-romantic clothes by the Swedish designer Ewa i Walla, you will love this! Although not absolutely perfect, this is just the thing for a relaxed, ever so slightly shabby chic romantic summer!More photographs below See my other listings for more great items!
