A super, pewter pub tankard from Victorian times. This large, quart tankard is engraved - 'Church Inn' together with some foliage. The body on each side of the handle is stamped with a crown above VR and below this ND. There is another crown with 2 characters beneath, together with 4 character touchmarks. These are indistinct, the first letter is w but I cannot make out any more. Height approx. 6 1/2 inches, base diameter approx. 5 inches. Capacity 2 pints. Please take a good look at the photographs and 'Condition Description' above, these form an important part of the description. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. IT IS NOT IN MY INTEREST TO PROFIT FROM POSTAGE COSTS, IF I HAVE OVER ESTIMATED THE COST, THEN I WILL REFUND THE DIFFERENCE, PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY CONCERNS.
