When I was a child more than 30+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business. From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them! I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone deco pieces and more. Please check often as you never know what surprise I might put up! #Z I found a fantastic surprise in my bags that I am now going to list in groups that are similar but I will start with this one which is unique: This is a vintage rectangular very fine and beautiful Micromosaic piece in a brass or other metal case. It has a design of a Bird with a dark background. It measures slightly over 1/2" x 3/8" in diameter. Please remember that this is a hugely magnified picture....it is a very small piece so the pieces are much prettier in person!! These could be used to make a pendant, earrings, cover the back in silver or gold if you like, make a pendant with many pieces. Your imagination is the limit!! These are old and are in great condition. I am not going to examine each piece under a loupe but I will say that it appears that most if not all of the tesserae are intact and if they aren't it is not offensive to the eye.
