What a beauty!!!Pride of craftsmanship is completely evident in this pieceLocket front is tiered with faux pearls and gold balls which in the second layer were shaved to appear facetedIn the center is a prong set faux diamond.The entire locket is embellished with carvings and etchings finished in the most subtle of blue and red accents.The back is etched in an intricate floral patternThe inserts of leather were added at a later point.As for the material, I'm a little up in the air. It could be rolled gold, or it could be pinchbeck based on the ornate nature of the locket. Being that I'm unsure, please check all pictures closely.Measures about 2 1/4" by 1 1/2"Please feel free to ask me any questions or to request more pictures :-)JR
