Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!! Hello! I am clearing out all my sewing collection in the next weeks. I collected lots of sewing kits, thimbles, boxes, etc. My loss is your treasure! Have fun!!! $4.99 Start & No Reserve! I am offering a really beautiful old Victorian sewing kit. The case is black leather covered. T is a brass clasp opening that works great. The hinges on the back work great. The inside top is lined in a satiny cream color material and the bottom is a pale blue felt like material. The case is in overall good condition considering how old it is. T is a Sterling Silver Pair of Scissors and a Sterling Silver Thimble. The thimble is stamped with the number 830 and the letter "S" and another mark I can't quite make out. The scissors have marks on both sides on the handles. The marks are partially covered up with solder from a previous repair to the handles. One mark is the number 83? I assume it is 830 the same as the thimble. The other side is marked St?????. I assume it says Sterling. I guarantee the scissors to be sterling. The scissors work very well and are very sharp. The thimble has no holes and is slightly out of round. This set would display nicely and would be a great addition to your sewing collection. Please check out the photos as I have included lots of different angles. Please email me with questions.
