Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!! Hello! I am clearing out all my sewing collection in the next weeks. I collected lots of sewing kits, thimbles, boxes, etc. My loss is your treasure! Have fun!!! $4.99 Start & No Reserve! I am offering a really old Victorian sewing case loaded with treasures! The case is black leather covered with gilt decorations. T is a brass clasp opening that works great. This is a tri-fold case with a stand on the back connected by green ribbon. The stand can be opened or left against the case - depending on how you want to display it. (Please see photos) The inside is lined in a satiny cream color material. The tools are as follows: 1 Boyd wooden needle holder 1 Lydia E. Pinkham's mini metal sewing kit with contents 1 Sterling Silver taylors thimble sz 9 1 Sterling Silver thimble sz 12 1 Metal taylors thimble 1 handmade crochet and ribbon thimble holder in the shape of a wishbone. The size 12 thimble fits inside this. 1 handmade crochet scissors holder 1 pair scissors - still sharp and works well A few miscellaneous threads, paper, needles This set is in overall great shape considering its age. I have never found another one like it. It is very unique and would make a great addition to a sewing collection. Please check out the photos as I have included lots of different angles.
