Antique Victorian-styled heavy brass hinges. 4 matching hinges in great working condition. On the back of each hinge it says "PAT. SEPT.7.86 R" meaning patent date is September 7, 1886. It also says "5-5" on back which are the dimensions in inches not counting the caps. There is a little old varnish and paint in the intricate artwork on the back. You can clean them up with a brass cleaner to make them shinier if you wish. These are heavy - weighing about 6.4 lbs according to my digital scale - that comes to 1.6 lbs each of solid brass! These old victorian hinges are hard to find - especially matching sets like this that are this size (5 by 5). I will ship USPS Priority and package carefully. Thanks for shopping!
