Antique Victorian Trade Card Scrapbook Album - Black Americana / Racist Images This fantastic 42 page album is 18 x 14 inches. It contains at least 500 or more small scraps (more than I could count), and over 350 trade cards and greeting cards (the vast majority are trade cards.) It is in relatively good condition, with most of the pages still attached, but the spine itself has come away from the cover. T are several rips, and a few images missing, don't know if they fell out or were removed at some point. T are a number of prime examples of Black Americana / Racist trade cards and images (including one black man playing the banjo, and one with a cotton ball as his head!) T is also a complete Hood's Sasparilla Calendar Card from 1892, intact and in good shape. The trade card companies included are: John Mundell & Co.; Radways Ready Relief; Duquette 7 Co.; Horsefords Acid Phosphate; Dr. C. McClanes Liver Pills; Allens Lung Balsam; A. Priesmeyer Shoes; McLaughlin's Coffee (Series includes Germany, Sweden, England, Little Red Riding Hood, and Western Cowboy); Huggins Candies; Corticelli Silk; Barry's Tricopherous; Prickly Ash Bitters; Van Houten's Cocoa; Brown's Iron Bitters (with Miss Langrty, the Jersey Lily); Cushman's Menthol Inhaler; Charter Oak Stoves; Ayers Pills; Clark's Thread; Woolson Spice Co.; Mather's Candies and Dry read more
