This is a lovely antique Victorian, vintage gold tone locket , either gold filled or a rose gold , not sure. There are2 frames inside and white cloth like paper, very clean. The front is elaborately carved with shield shape on the front and plain back. The locket is 1 & 1/4 inches high and 7/8 inch wide. There are no dents or dings. back has small circular area of mild discoloration. The hinge and latch work well and the locket snaps shut as designed. the hinge is of the Victorian type and it has a generous jump loop.. I remember this came in a box with the name of the type of locket it is and I have lost the descriptive name. If I find it I will be sure to add the information. A well made piece of history that is lovely as it is functional. Postage is 2.00 which includes tracking, very careful packing and first class postage. I also provide free shipping for anyone who buys more than one thing and for returning customers, just remind me please.
