Oh~My~Gosh!!! Offered for your bidding consideration is a ViNtaGe VICTORIAN WICKER BASKET ADORNED WITH THE MOST AWESOME BARBOLA BLUE BIRDS AND FLOWERS!!! The Blue Birds are just Amazing!!!!!!!! This early wicker basket has a wood bottom and braiding around the top edge... The Basket is stable - nothing coming loose... Both the Basket and the Barbola has taken on a perfectly weatd time~worn patina creating that so desired "chippy-shabby" look... The Barbola has wonderful age-related cracks in the gesso... One of the birds has some awesome crackling/crazing around the eye area... ALL Paint is Original... The Barbola Flower Sprig Decoration is adorned by 2 Barbola Blue Birds. This decoration is on Both sides of the basket... One side is missing a single Bird... This Basket is Sooooo AwEsoMe!!! The combination of Vintage Wicker - Original ChiPPy Paint - Barbola Flowers & the "RARE BLUE BIRDS", are an Exceptional Find Indeed!!! THIS VINTAGE BARBOLA BASKET WITH FLOWERS AND BLUE BIRDS MEASURES APPROXIMATELY: 11" Tall... It tapers slightly ~ 10-1/2" across the top x 7" across the bottom... The sprig of flowers is 8" x 2"... The Blue Birds including wing span 3-3/4" x 2"...
