This is a beautiful sought after 8 day clock . Works as great, keeping time and chimes (hammer hitting on a coil gong) on the hour, counting out the hour and a single on the half hour. Do not know the manufacturer, but the brass clock works does have a number (see second to last picture). The clock's mechanism can be removed by loosening the thumb screws on each side. The case has nice rich dark color and the veneer is in very good condition with no loose veneer. All the glass, front and side panels are not cracked or chipped. The clock face is made of an enameled metal and has a very small chip by the right key hole (very hard to see).It is a very old clock, so expect to find wear, rub marks and oxidation which is expected for a clock of this age. An antique clock like this one will only go up in value if properly maintained.Approximate dimensions for this clock 34" tall, 13" wide and a depth of 7".
