Antique Villeroy & Boch Stick Spatterware Spongeware Plates
Item Description: Up for auction are three very nice pieces of antique spongeware manufactured by Villeroy & Boch of Germany during the late 1800s. The pattern is referred to as Virginia Rose and it features beautiful handpainted flower and leaf designs in four vibrant colors. The pieces included in this auction are two dessert plates and a saucer. The dessert plates measure 6" across and the saucer measures 5 5/8" across. Each piece is marked on the back with the Villeroy & Boch trademark. Item Condition: The overall condition of each piece is very good. They are very clean and extremely white. The color and paint are wonderful and the glaze still looks very nice with no crazing. Each piece does have a chip or very small chips along the edge. Auction Terms: Upon close of the auction, the winning bidder is responsible for sending the seller their name, mailing address, and intended form of payment. Payment Information: Payment must be received within 10 days upon close of the auction. If payment is not received within ten days, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder, and negative feedback will be left. Acceptable forms of PayPal will only be accepted for items under $100.00. Personal checks and e-checks must clear prior to your item being shipped. All other forms of payment will result in your item being shipped as expeditiously as possible. Overseas bidders must submit payment via PayPal or International money order. Shipping Information: We will combine shipping if you purchase multiple items from us. We use standard United States Postal Service delivery for all of our items. The shipping charge that is quoted is based upon current Priority Mail shipping rates found on the USPS website, the weight of your item, and the zip code w the package is being delivered. Media mail rates will be quoted for acceptable items. It is the buyer's responsibility to request parcel post shipping if they do not wish to pay the priority mail shipping rate. We will ship overseas and to other countries, however please obtain a price quote prior to the close of the auction. Please note that a handling fee is included with your shipping quote and we require insurance for all items that sell for over $100.00. Return Policy: The buyer assumes responsibility for the item once it is shipped. If the package is not insured, we will not be held responsible for broken items. We attempt to describe the type and condition of the item that is for sale to the best of our ability. Please note that we are not experts in all categories, so it is the buyer's responsibility to ask questions or request photographs prior to the close of the auction. If the item is not what you expected to receive, and has been grossly misrepresented, you may return the item for a full refund equal to the closing price of the auction. (Refund does not include shipping and handling charges.) To receive a full refund, the item must be returned in the same condition that it was originally listed. Replacement items are unacceptable forms of reimbursement. All refunds will be at the discretion of the seller.
