is another variation of the Virginia pattern from Villeroy & Boch with the basic Wallerfangen mark. Kelly and Kowalsky's 2001 pricing guide, Spongeware 1835 - 1935 (page 97) shows a 12.75 inch Villeroy & Boch charger in this design for $240. This plate has no cracks or hairlines, no chips, no stains and only two glaze imperfections that are on the back. This is a colorful, full coverage design with flowers in blue, two shades of plum, yellow stamens and spring green leaves. For those of you who collect rabbitware, this would be a great companion piece for display! Although the back has a clear Villory & Boch Wallerfangen mark in black, t is also a one inch scar that was scratched immediately beneath it. In addition, t is a stamped 59.A and an impressed triangle next to an impressed HBG. Although the manufacturer's mark looks real and the plate is definitely old, I have no idea why the back has been marred. As such, I'll start this listing at a low price! Size: 9 3/8 inches diameter. And now for the usual caveats and buying specs ~~ Shipping & Payment: Payment is expected within 5 days from the end of the auction unless you contact me for alternative arrangements. Please also let me know if you'll be mailing your payment. Insurance is optional but any damage occuring during shipping will be at your own risk. T is a small handling charge to cover USPS delivery confirmation. Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
