For your consideration I have this Antique Vintage 1890's ?? Glass Oil Lamp w/Finger Grip ... Scovill font...This lamp is in Great condition and comes from an Estate of a major lamp Collector...There is a tag on the bottom that states "1890 End of Day PCA 075"...I don't know what this means other than mos t of the lamps from this Estate were meticulously tagged and well cared for... There are no cracks or chips on this lamp...The wick riser seems to work but is a bit stiff with the very old Felt/Leather type wick... The fo nt is a Queen Anne No. 1 made by Scovill MFG ...The Brass is mildly aged with patina...in overall great condition.. I am really not sure how to describe the glass base on this lamp other than it is very unique in the detail...It is glass with a Marble look to it... This is a beautiful Lamp and would make a Great addition to your collection...Measures approx. 15 " tall with Globe ... 6 1/2 " tall to top of fount... 4" wide...
