Old, antique, vintage 1940's metal sign for Firestone Tires. Huge sign; approx. 6 1/2 feet long X 1 1/2 feet tall. Unique shape. I don't think it's porcelain, but it is very heavy like porcelain signs; very heavy gauge metal. Red, white, and black printing. 'Firestone Most miles per dollar Auto Farm'. Marked on the bottom with 'McCleary Garage Firestone Tire and Rubber Co.', along with a sign maker's number on the bottom right corner. Great colors; some surface wear and scratches on front; peeling paint on the back. Please refer to pictures. Two rusty eyebolts where it hung. Probably a local make which makes it more rare because of it might be one of a kind. Don't have any other history on the sign or where it came from. Great for the Firestone, auto, automobilia, farm, tractor, ag, gas, oil, John Deere, Case, Ford, Chevy, advertising sign collector. Shipping costs apply for size and weight. Paypal Only. No International Shipping. No PO Boxes. Thanks.
