This is the best Adirondack pack basket I have seen. It is very old, I estimate turn of the century. It has a wonderful deep rich patina! This type of basket was used by hunters for hunting and trapping, and also for fishing in the mountains of New York. This basket is hand made and still in excellent condition. I find one broken weave near the bottom and you have to really look to find it. Basket is still very strong and usable as are the original straps. This would make a beautiful rustic display in your home or cabin. This is a substantial basket measuring 17 inches high, 13 wide and 10 deep. This will be the highlight of your collection.
