Fabulous old gas heater for easy restoral. Very Good Condition with no cracks in the thick ceramic back. ALL 5 ceramic radiants are in Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or repairs, and are original to the heater.
The front grill bars form a separated diamond pattern in the center. It's a bit cock-eyed as one of the vertical bars needs to be threaded back on properly.
Superb Art Deco "Skyscraper" styled iron legs! Curvy at the feet, with heavy pebbled texture. Nice as-is, and if painted black, or perhaps plated, would make this piece truly spectacular!

Heater is Unvented, bears its original metal Armstrong plaque, which reads: "Model 835 and 20,000 BTU". We do not have gas lines run , so have no way of testing. Please, if you're going to use this, have it inspected! Your gas company usually will do this at no cost.

Original on/off/ knob turns freely. Measures 31-1/4" across the front at the widest point (front feet), back measures 19-5/8" across. It is 20" tall at back center, and is 12-1/2" deep.
Weighs 48 lbs. packed for shipping, and will be a dimensional weight item. The cost listed above in 'shipping' may read high. Please contact us with your zip code for FedEx estimate.
We've shipped dozens of these old heaters, and have never had an insurance claim! We use thick palleting to properly cushion and protect the ceramic backs, and the ceramic radiants are separately boxed.

~~PLEASE know we are Not overcharging you on shipping! Most of our items are shipped to you via USPS Priority Mail. The USPS is once again going up on their rates, and for the past year has been charging based not only on weight, but also on size of packaging, just as the other carriers do.
We DO NOT pack with walmart bags and newspaper! You entrust us with the safe and secure delivery of your items, and we do all possible, including AMPLE packing materials. We use biodegradeable, cornstarch peanuts and clean, fresh new bubblewrapping, acid free tissue and boxing. Due to the continual rising costs of these items, we've been forced to institute a very small supply fee to help offset a small portion of the costs of packing peanuts, bubble wrapping and/or foam encasing.
eBay now charges sellers based on our "DSR ratings", so please, don't penalize us, or any eBay seller, for excessive shipping unless it is truly excessive.~~
We always attempt to have concise, accurate descriptions and clear, accurate photos, however my photography skills aren't exceptional, and (contrary to my liking), I do not know everything about everything. If the photos or description leave a question in your mind, please email one of us , and we'll answer you as quickly as possible.
