An early BBC crystal ? or Tube radio housing cabinet with faded but original BBC badge. It is in lovely condition for great age, probably circa 1910 -20's.It is of a polished wood, possibly mahogany and extremely well made with hand made tongue and grooved joints, brass hinges and screws. It measures externally approximately 8.25 x 8.5 inches (21 x 21 cm) and stand about 6.2 inches (15.5 cm) tall. It has an unpolished base wood and the polished cabinet areas are not chipped or cracked, just some light surface scratches to the lid top. It would look stunning if re polished. As mentioned it is an empty cabinet ,but may be of use to someone with a vintage radio needing housing. But would look simply lovely on display as it is without a radio inside. THANKS FOR LOOKING.
