GORGEOUS Vintage Print by F. BEDA in an Antique or Vintage Wood Frame Print is titled "The Chess Game" by artist Francesco Beda , an Italian painter in the 19th century. The print is on a hard board and is in excellent condition. Colors look true, but I have nothing to compare it to. Frame is exquisite and could be used for your own art or a mirror if so desired. Frame is very ornate, made of wood, and has a lovely gold gilt finish. I cannot tell if the decoration is gesso, or carved wood, so I have taken lots of photos to help you assess the frame. I could find no damage. Outer dimensions are 29" x 41" with an image area of 24" x 36". This was an estate sale purchase, so I do not know the age of the print or frame. However, there is a paper label on the back that reads "Harbour-Longmire Art Galleries, Oklahoma City. I do know that they also had a furniture store in downtown OKC from 1925 to the mid 1940's. Please use EBay's magnifying tool to see the lovely detail of this frame and print. I accept payment through Paypal within 3 days of close of auction.
