~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ ~*~This buy it now is for this beautiful 29.8 feet by 21.25 inches roll ( 9.1 meters by 54cm) ~*~ ( I am able to fit this piece into a flat rate box for $9.95 to the USA, $24 to Canada and $39.00 to anyw else in the world!) This is a lovley roll of Antique double blue stripes one each side, hand-woven hemp and cotton ~*~ This roll was woven with a cotton warp and a linen/hemp weft. The stripes are beautiful and would make some lovely blinds, curtains, cushions, bedding etc! The weave is quite dense and the blue is a medium blue~*~ another lovely roll~*~ This roll is in good condition with some storage dirt that will wash no problem! it is lovely and unused~ ~*~This wonderful fabric has so many uses:~*~Upholstery, bedding, cushions, curtains,clothing, Roman Blinds, bags, ~ so many wonderful sewing projects~*~ ~*~The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen ~*~ These rolls are 100% machine washable, on 40 or 60 celcius..if t is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and t is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect). Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage. These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! New Hemp can be soaked in water for 3 days and then washed on regular cycle to soften or one can use liquid fabric softener if desired. Most of my rolls don't tend to need any additional help with softening as they have a lovely texture as is~ ~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~ All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are innt ...adding to their rustic charm~*~ These rolls are increasingly difficult to find as they have been used so extensively over the past 20 years.
