Item up for auction is one (1) ANTIQUE VINTAGE C. CONRAD & CO's ORIGINAL BUDWEISER GLASS BEER BOTTLE! Bottle is approximately 11 & 3/4 inches tall and bottom is approximately 3 inches in diameter. It is US patent number 6376. I am no bottle expert, but is what I have found upon close inspection...it is great vintage condition considering it's age (late 1800's)! It has great embossed lettering and average case wear- typical bubbles, stretchmarks and scratches that are characteristic for a glass bottle of it's age. It also has light hazing/film on the neck (could probably be cleaned with the right cleaning agent- that or tumbled if you so choose) (see photo). It has a small indenture on the lip that appears to be a manufacture flaw (see close-up photo). It also has a surface imperfection on the neck that appears to be a crazing line at bottom of neck that moves around to the top of neck- probably due to the twisting and cooling process during manufacturing (see close-up photo).
