Delightful 1920's antique child's toy cupboard w/ over 50 accessories, all vintage 1940's-50's except handmade food/towel, canisters, mixing bowl, & a few other pieces - everything is in GREAT condition. Lemon sugar cookies are in progress (that's resin "lemon juice" for the cookies in the little bottle w/ funnel, freshly squeezed). This cupboard is all original as far as I know, including the finish...has a wonderful patina, very old varnish, so much character! T's a flaw in the wood on second shelf, far right, not bad at all. Someone cared enough to write some info on the back... hard to read, but looks like "bought for (& a name) Newtown, VA Jan 6, 1928". It stands 16 3/4" tall x 10 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" deep at bottom - original knobs, doors open fully & close completely (one door is a little tight). T's an adorable little tea kettle w/ red handles (lid not original, but displays great), cherry pie (my camera intensifies reds - cherries are more subdued!), plum pudding ("hammered" pattern cover made in England (not marked), crocheted doily, candle w/ holder, handmade towel w/ "apple" (like canisters), German made red handled cabbage cutter, wire whisk, wooden cutting board...."cans" of soup, fruit cocktail, coffee (plastic), "Scotkins" napkins, 2 tiny glass bottles - Hazel Atlas w/ resin "milk" & the other w/ lemon juice & funnel...many toy food boxes (raisins & Rice Krispies are 40's, the rest probably 50's), a metal flour sifter & meat grinder, 4 pc. pottery canister set w/ apple design & mixing bowl (not marked, but I think 1980's-90's by Tender Heart) , plate w/ butter & knife, a lemon, wooden bowl w/ eggs, cookie sheet w/ dough & tiny "heart" cookie cutter - just precious, made of tin w/ handmade red handle (see photo of it held in my hand for size). Bottom has red handled stock pot, tiny layer cake pan, bucket, sponge, & "Spic n Span" box. OUTSTANDING for your collection, for display, or for your dolls! I HAVE OTHER VINTAGE CHILDREN'S KITCHEN ITEMS LISTED & WILL HAPPILY COMBINE SHIPPING WHENEVER POSSIBLE. The non-vintage items not already mentioned are wire whisk, sifter, cutting board, sponge, & bucket. Glass items & very small items are not suitable for children. All handmade food items were made from polymer clay, which was baked & hardened...or resin, also hardened - all should probably last forever! T is NOT a brown spot on the apple on towel, as it appears in some photos. Canisters all have lids that are removeable. I just listed a 1930's toy stove with lots of vintage accessories, if you are interested. Stove & accessories are on the same size scale as this cupboard.
