Up for bid is a beautiful cut glass Humidor with a Sterling Silver Cover that sits down snugly on the top of the glass jar. I do not know what the pattern of glass is called. It has diagnal swirl cuts in the glass. Some of the cuts are smooth, some are rough decorative ridges. I did find 2 small flakes by the decorative edges but had to look really hard to find them. The bottom design is gorgeous and the picture does it justice. T are no cracks or crazing. The jar measures 5 1/2 inches high without the lid on and 6 1/4 inches high with the lid on. The diameter is 5 3/8 inches. The circumference is 17 inches. The Sterling Silver Cover has 3 hallmarks on the side and the word Sterling 96D and another hallmark. One hallmark appears to have a lion inside a shape that reminds me of a horseshoe with the ends pointed upward. The other is a similar horseshoe shape with what appears to be a Gothic style letter, maybe a B or G? In the center top of the cover it has been inscribed "St. Regis Yacht Club 1909 Won By" T is no other inscription. The cover is in good condition but does have some small dings and t I tried to take really good photos to show these things. Inside the jar (not shown in the photos) is a read more
