ANTIQUE FOUR QUART TIN DAIRY MILK OR CREAM CAN WITH BAIL HANDLE is a nice clean four quart tin dairy milk or cream can that was recently found in the Lebanon Valley of Pennsylvania. Weighing almost one pound, this old farm primitive measures 9-1/4" tall including the lid, with a diameter of 6" at the base and 3-7/8" at the top. The base is recessed 3/8" from the bottom rim. The can remains in good condition, except it is missing the handle on the lid. The bail handle is firmly attached to the can and the lift lid fits snugly, and is easily removed by gripping the rim. The old tin has darkened and has a worn smooth feel. T is some rust residue on the bottom of the inside. A nice farm primitive with many possible uses! THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
