Rare Wedding Bonnet from 1800's France

It's French Femme Month in my eBay store!

Created and beautifully handmade in France in the 1800's, is this exquisite museum quality bridal hat.

Made principally of tulle, and many embellishments. It is layered with more wired tulle to give it shape, and lined inside the crown of the bonnet by what looks like silk.

In superb condition, quite amazing for its age. T is an elastic band which can be replaced, and a long silky ribbon that hangs down towards the neck, and has not survived as well as the bonnet. It can be easily replaced or removed altogether. If you chose to keep it, it needs a quick tacking on one side - a 2 minute job for a seamstress and easily accomplished by anyone - no need to really go to a professional.

Your bonnet will be coming to you directly from France, so please allow 2 - 10 weeks for delivery. It is very likely to arrive within 3 weeks, however.
