It is my understanding that this is a very rare piece.It is a glazed stoneware liquor jug labeled:Stern, Schloss & Co.WHOLESALE LIQUOR DEALERSAlbuquerque, N. Mex.My research tells me thats Stern, Schloss & Co. was incorporated on June 22, 1905. They were located at 115 W. Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, NM. This particular jug is a one gallon jug and measures approximately 9.5" tall X 7" wide across the bottom. There are no cracks on the jug, but there are two small, very old, chips.
