IT IS TIME TO CLEAN OUT AND PART WITH MANY OF MY COLLECTIONS. I ACQUIRED THIS AT AN ESTATE SALE, IN THE 1980's. NOT SURE OF IT'S ACTUAL AGE--BUT, IS VERY OLD & BEAUTIFUL!
I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE AN EXPERT IN GLASSWARE AT ALL, BUT I DO TRY TO DESCRIBE AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE.
OVERALL IT IS IN VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE, IT HAS A FEW MANUFACTURED FLAWS ON GLASS, MARKS THAT LOOK LIKE SCRATCHES OR GLASS STRANDS WHEN IT WAS MADE. THE VERY BOTTOM OUTER EDGES SHOW SOME MINOR SHELF MARKS. NOTHING ELSE NOTED.
JUST WASH AND ENJOY!
A GREAT COLLECTIBLE FOR THAT AVID GLASS COLLECTOR, OR JUST TO HAVE AND USE OR DISPLAY.

HISTORY: Starting from a small North 120 Carolina winery that went back to Sidney Weller in the 1830s, Paul Garrett (1863--1940) eventually became the most successful of eastern winegrowers before Prohibition. His Virginia Dare wine, based on the native Scuppernong grape of the South, became the most popular of American wines.
