Antique Vintage German Stoneware Salt Glaze Stein Vase. Vase is 17" tall (44cm). An excellent presentation vase! This vintage salt glazed work dates to the 1890s and has relief style artwork with double handles. The beautiful relief has slip colors of blue, gray, and cream. The relief is very impressive with medallions, a knight in full plate armor riding his horse, and a maiden in waiting with fruit. The shield has a Prussian Eagle and the t are two lion faces under each handle. A handle has been reglued and t is minor flaking.
