Fantastic and scarce --likely one of a kind--prewar/antique toy flower shop stand from Germany, brimming with 50 fanciful miniatures, including potted flowers and plants, tools, watering can and pail, shovel, rake, vases and basket, fencing, shrubbery, three garden gnomes, a framed miniature print, an erzgebirge bird. The wooden stand measures 10x8x6", it is solid and covered with a striped ticking awning trimmed with paper lace, all in excellent antique condition. The flowers and plants are in excellent antique condition. Condition issues: One of the gnomes has a few chips; two ball finials are missing from the fencing; the little framed print has a crack in the glass: see photos. The plants and flowers show a light, expected patina of age but are largely complete and full of vivid, vibrant color and charm. A spectacular display item with fantastic detail and workmanship.
