ANTIQUE/VINTAGE GREEN JADE BEAD NECKLACE - WITH CARVED CLASP . I am no expert in jewelry, especially jade, but I do know is that it is very old and genuine jade inherited from family through the generations. Over all length is 16", with 34 strung beads, intricately carved jade clasp is oval 1 5/8" x 7/8", and in fine working condition. Carving on clasp depicts flowers and leaves. The color of this jade, somewhat semi-transparent, is like no other I've seen. You are sure to get MANY COMPLIMENTS on this unique piece. SALE IS STRICTLY USA ONLY PLEASE. The number "1374" appears on the back of the clasp with other hallmarks/makers marks, but I do not understand them. Like I said, I am no expert. This awesome jade antique necklace will be sent in an old and worn, blue velvet jewelry box labeled "John Wanamaker, Philadelphia ". I am not certain if this is the original jewelry box, but was presented to me as such, so I am including it. Also included are an additional 6 loose jade beads (totaling 40 beads); tfore the necklace must have been shortened/restrung. Please examine photos and description carefully.
