This auction is for a very rare Antique Vintage Hand Made Dresden Plate Pattern Quilt. I am no expert on quilts but I did get some opinions on the materials in this quilt. The colorful patches are from the 1940's and possibly the 1950's. The green squares on the front are army green and are made of wool. The backing on the back is very interesting. It appears to be decades older than the rest. At first I believed that this was from the 1960's but now I am convinced that it is earlier. It has some damage, I tried to take good pictures to show this. The actual measurements are: 5' 3 1/2 inches wide and 6' 7 inches long. It has been stored in a smoke free environment.
