~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ This lovely textile is a hand-woven, homespun hemp Linen sheet that dates from around the turn of the century c1900~ this lovely textile has a beautiful, natural slightly warm tone and is make with a linen cotton mix. This lovely lovely sheet is 100% hand stitched with a center seam down the middle.....all tiny tiny stitches. Each end is hand stitched with a hem.....it is an astounding sheet. The monogram is AL and made by using a red cross stitch...very tiny stitched again. This is a heavy weight sheet, ! ~~*~ This textile was meant to last for generations of use~*~ . The weave is nice and interesting with lovely slightly slubby nubby appeal,heavy weight . Both ends are hemmed with hand stitches also, just so lovely!!! This textile would make charming upholstery fabric, tablecloth, Shower curtain ( so easy to make, simply add the rings to the top of the textile and leave the plastic shower curtain behind it to protect from water~*~) lovely for pillows, or lovely as a bed cover~ ~ or even a throw for chilly nights~*~ Beautiful textile! Please see the 2 photographs attached at the ends to see one of my sheets ( and other textiles) being used as a bed cover, and the other is a shower curtain~*~* wonderful~ ( sheet 692) This piece measures 8.85 feet long by 6.70 feet wide (270by 200cm) ~This sheet is in lovely condition, freshly laundered~ simply wonderful!~*~ ~*~These textiles are, by nature, Eco-friendly! The average age of these textiles is 100 years and they were naturally home grown, home retted ( in local lakes and ponds) and woven by hand. These textiles are being re-cycled today and showing off the extreme craftsmanship of past generations! Yet another feature that makes these textiles extremely eco-friendly is their durability. These textiles were designed to endure generations of constant use~ and will have an extremely long life.
