Antique Vintage Holy Bible Miniature 1845 American Bible Society New York Up for auction is a Antique Miniature Holy Bible. Printed by The American Bible Society in New York in 1845. For being 169 years old I would say its in pretty good condition. The pages all seem to be intact and I would almost all of them are still connected to the binding. The cover is leather and has a few tears in it. Says Holy Bible on the binding. Also has Engraved Wm C. A. Vanness on the side cover. There are 979 pages in the Bible. It measures 4 1/2" long x 3" wide x 2" tall. There is a hand written note in the front of the bible that says W.C.A. Vanness A present from William C. Annin. Bible: This is the book whose verses display Jesus, the life, the trusth, the way. Read it with diligence with prayer Search it and thou shalt find him then. 1846. I may have some of the words wrong, its hard to read the handwriting. I just though it was cool that it was there. On page 749 it shows a page that says The New Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Translated out of The Original Greek and with the former translations diligently compared and revised.
