~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ Up for auction today is this lovely woven cotton lilac striped grain/flour sack. This vintage sack is just darling and has been woven by hand using lovely natural cotton with a beautiul stripe. The stripes are a lovely lovely lilac purple! T is a wonderful linen and cotton tie at the top that would be a delightful feature of a cusion etc! . This lovely sack measures 89cm by 46cm ( 2.91feet long by 18.11 inches wide) It is one long piece of linen sewn together at each side~ ~*~It is in lovely condition No holes no stains ~ nice and soft and smoothly woven. This sack weighs 400gr so Postage to UK is £1.70 UK pounds~ Postage to the USA is $9 us dollars airmail. I always happily combine postage costs to save my customers money on shipping~*~ The linen is home grown, home retted and hand woven. These sacks are 100% machine washable! I wash them on a regular 40c or even 60c cycle and then hang to dry ( however you can tumble dry too!). If t is dirt present simply add Oxyclean or similar~ hemp was built to last, and last .....and last...the more you use it the more wonderful it becomes~ most times t isn't even a need for ironing after wash~ perfect for easy lifestlyes~*~ ~*~I have found so many uses for these sacks.
