I have had this for a long time. It was one of the first things I bought when I discovered antiquing. I thought she was so beautiful! WIth the holidays coming I thought it would be a great time to find her a proper home. She is a hand carved ivory Madonna on a wood stand. She has a beautiful serene face with exquisite detail. I have always been fascinated by her hands. It is so well carved. She has a metal pron on the base of her that fits into the stand and one in the stand that fits into her base. I took her off to show you the cross hatch on the base. The only flaw I see is that small hairline on the base. She is 6 1/4 in with out the base and 7 1/2 on the base. I would love to see her spend the holidays in a home w she will be revered and enjoyed!
