This auction includes VINTAGE to ANTIQUE MIXED LOT OF 26 TRIM WORK I bought this wonderful lot of trim at an estate sale and t are some 26 or more pieces T are all kinds of beautiful lace, mesh, cutwork, crochet, tiny rickrack, tatting, etc. T is one large piece which appears to have been the bottom of a dress, slip, or perhaps christening gown with a wonderful 4 1/2 inch border of beautiful work One piece of lace is wrapped around a piece of cardboard and has a little note pinned to it which reads, enough for slip and the date Oct. 04, 53! Another piece which has a red scalloped edge and red stars is hand made I have removed all the straight pins I could find as they have rusted in many places The trim has been stored for many, many years and is all discolored and have spots on some of them but it all appears to be strong and not rotten and it does not have any odor The quantities of each are sufficient for nice trim on any manner of items from doll clothes to re-inactment attire T was also some old ribbon in this lot which I am listing separately and t was some ribbon wrapped around some paperwork which turned out to be a financial statement for a church and the date is 1942!
