This is a beautiful little Limerick lace collar. It has an art nouveau design featuring shamrocks, ivy leaves, a small harp and shows a good range of delicate needlerun fillings. Two small brown stains, otherwise excellent condition. Inner neck measures 29 ins, back neck to edge 7.5 ins. This collar is from a large collection I bought recently, which belonged to the late Pat Earnshaw, lace expert and author of many books on the subject. Lots more wonderful pieces which I will be listing in the next few weeks.
