ANTIQUE MAJOLICA PITCHER WITH FISH DESIGN The first thing I want to say is that any white spots you see on the pitcher are just from the flash of the camera. T are no chips or cracks in this pitcher unless you count the little line at the narrowest part which is under the glaze and which is a manufacturer's flaw. I do see crazing, but not with the naked eye. I can see it with a magnifying glass. "English" (I think) appears on the bottom of the pitcher. T are also the numbers 3 and 0 and if t is supposed to be any other numbers or letters, they are not showing up. This is a striking piece, a great piece of art pottery. The fish are greatly raised and the handle is unique. The fish is swimming among the underwater plants and they're creating little curly waves as they go. The pitcher is 6" tall and 7" wide to the edge of the handle. I didn't know what I had when I bought this, but I knew immediately it was a good piece. It took a little help from my sister and some research to discover I was right. My items come from a smoke-free, animal-free home (Nothing against animals). Instructions to bidders: I am not an expert on anything, so study my pictures carefully. If you have 2 or more negatives in the last 6 months, please do not bid. Shipping costs may be higher than the stated flat rate for residents of Hawaii , Alaska and Puerto Rico . I do not issue refunds for articles not received if I can show on the receipt that it was shipped and if the buyer refuses insurance and/or confirmation. International bidders: Please do not pay until you receive an invoice from me. If you do, the amount of postage automatically figured by ebay will be incorrect, almost always much higher. I accept bids from foreign buyers who are willing to pay through PayPal and pay all shipping costs plus a $1 handling fee. Please allow a few extra days for shipping if you win this auction. When postal rates increased, so did the postal transit times. I do not issue refunds to international buyers because of the high cost of shipping. Please ask questions or for more pictures to make sure t is nothing I overlooked. And if your package doesn't arrive, please don't ask for a refund. I cannot be responsible for postal errors. I will, of course, confirm that I addressed the package correctly . Instructions to the winner: If you do not receive an invoice or hear from me, check your junk mail. If payment is made by paypal, I prefer payment within 36 hours. Otherwise the paypal fee I pay isn't worth it. I prefer mail payments to e-checks because of the long delay in waiting for them to clear. However, I will accept them if t is no other option. I will accept a check if buyer has 20+ positive feedbacks with no negative feedback relating to payment. Otherwise paypal payment or a money order is required. I offer insurance and am offering confirmation for an additional 55 cents. If you choose not to purchase either, please do not ask me to refund payment for items not received or received damaged by the post office. Please note that I have an excellent shipping record and I take great care in packing. Please allow a few days longer for 1st class and parcel post shipments. Also consider that some sellers charge a penny for the item and $20 to ship. Those are the ones who deserve low scores for shipping costs.
