Art Deco Cast metal (spleter?) scones Beautiful pair of art deco wall sconces, (around 30's) They are heavy cast metal, don't really know what, could be spleter. They are silver/gold and seem a lighter (silver color) on the back. They weight together 4 lbs. Each is 10 1/2 long, 4 1/2 wide and 3 1/4 deep. They need to be rewired, and they need a socket cover or a "candle" (I sell them as they are) They have the "Leviton" bakelite electric piece (?) in the back. One has a small chain (broken) as a switch (but is working/ The screws to attache them to the walls are missing. I am sure they could be polished and cleaned to bring their beauty back entirely. These pieces are being offered in "as is" condition, so please check out the pictures weel and ask your questions before making your purchase.
